3 Ways to Unlock Toon Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl - wikiHow

Toon Link is the Wind Waker version of Link (and more recently in the Spirit Tracks.) He is both smaller and faster than the normal Link. If you are wondering how to unlock him, read on to found out!
STEPS
METHOD 1 OF 3: OPTION ONE

COMPLETE 400 BRAWL MATCHES. Toon Link will then challenge you to a Brawl.

DEFEAT TOON LINK, AND HE WILL JOIN YOUR TEAM.
METHOD 2 OF 3: OPTION TWO

COMPLETE THE SUBSPACE EMISSARY.

COMPLETE THE CLASSIC MODE WITH LINK, ZELDA OR ANY OTHERS. Toon Link will then challenge you to a Brawl on the stage called "Great Sea".

DEFEAT TOON LINK, AND HE WILL JOIN YOUR TEAM.
METHOD 3 OF 3: OPTION THREE

COMPLETE THE SUBSPACE EMISSARY.

GO TO THE FOREST STAGE IN THE SUBSPACE EMISSARY. There should be a door that previously was not there.

ENTER THE DOOR. Toon Link will challenge you to a Brawl.

DEFEAT TOON LINK AND HE WILL JOIN YOUR TEAM.

TIPS
Put the matches on Easy mode so it will be easier to get Toon Link.
When you unlock Toon Link, you will unlock the Stage: Great Sea.
Be prepared if you use this method, because it forces you to fight him as Link. If you're willing to wait, you could also fight 400 brawls (regular matches) or if you can check other sites, you could look up one of the other methods.
