TIPS
You can ask Siri for traffic information at any location. For example, “What’s the traffic like in Midtown, Manhattan?”.
You can show and hide traffic information by tapping the bottom right of the Maps screen and tapping the Hide Traffic or Show Traffic button.
You don’t have to ask Siri about traffic. If you have the Maps app set to Show Traffic, traffic information will appear on the map for any location you view.
WARNINGS
The traffic information in the Maps app is regularly updated but doesn’t offer minute-by-minute updates, so it’s best to check other sources such as local radio or other information online as well.
