How to Erase Internal Storage on Android: 5 Steps (with Pictures)

If you need to sell your Android, or just completely reset it, you can do a factory reset to erase the internal storage.
STEPS

1
PRESS THE MENU BUTTON ON YOUR PHONE, AND SELECT "SYSTEM SETTINGS."

2
SCROLL DOWN THE SETTINGS PAGE TOWARDS THE BOTTOM.

3
SELECT THE "PRIVACY" OPTION WITH THE ICON OF A FENCE.

4
CLICK "FACTORY DATA RESET" TO COMPLETELY ERASE YOUR INTERNAL DRIVE AND RESET YOUR PHONE AFTER YOU\'VE BACKED UP ANY INFO THAT YOU NEED. Click "backup account" here first if you haven't done so already.

5
CHECK THE "ERASE INTERNAL STORAGE" BOX. Click "reset phone" to reset. Make sure the phone has enough power, as this will take at least ten minutes.
TIPS
Make completely sure that your Android is set to save all your data in other places before wiping it clean.
