TAP THE FACEBOOK ICON ON YOUR IPHONE’S HOME SCREEN TO LAUNCH THE FACEBOOK APP.

TAP THE MESSAGES BUTTON (TWO SPEECH BUBBLES OVERLAPPING) AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN.

TAP THE CONVERSATION THAT INCLUDES THE MESSAGE YOU WANT TO DELETE.

TAP AND HOLD YOUR FINGER ON THE MESSAGE YOU WANT TO DELETE.

TAP DELETE ON THE MENU THAT APPEARS.

TAP THE RED DELETE BUTTON TO DELETE THE MESSAGE.

Facebook also offers the Facebook Messenger app for iPhone that allows you to manage your Facebook messages from a single app.
To do delete messages from Facebook in the iPhone’s Safari browser, follow steps two and three and swipe from left to right across the message to reveal the delete button. You can now tap the button to delete the message.
